Jenna Long is a Law Graduate at Ahern Sierakowski, with admission to practice scheduled for 22 May 2025.

Jenna completed a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Criminology and Justice at Edith Cowan University, graduating in November 2025 with Special Honours and placement on the Dean’s List. During her studies, she received commendation awards in Family Law, Contract Law, Property Law, Administrative Law, Correctional Studies, and Criminal Justice, reflecting consistent academic excellence across both private and public law disciplines.

Jenna has accumulated over 10 years’ experience in legal administration and paralegal practice, including work at boutique and mid-sized firms. Her practice exposure has expanded to include civil litigation, contract disputes, defamation, wills and estates, probate and estate administration, family law parenting and property disputes, binding financial agreements, and consent orders. She also has experience in criminal law and family violence restraining order matters, care and protection proceedings, criminal injuries compensation claims, adoptions, and alternative dispute resolution conferences and mediations.

Jenna has worked closely with senior associates, directors, and both junior and senior counsel, assisting with the day-to-day carriage of matters, court hearings, legal research, and drafting. She has experience across multiple jurisdictions, including the Magistrates Court, District Court, Children’s Court, and Family Court, and has instructed at hearings involving parenting, property, and restraining order matters.

In addition to practice, Jenna represented her university as Counsel in a National Mooting Competition before former High Court Justice Michael Kirby, where she was awarded the “Spirit of the Moot” Award in recognition of professionalism, creativity, and commitment to advocacy under pressure.

Jenna’s exposure to a wide range of practitioners and counsel informs her logical, practical, and no-nonsense approach to legal problem-solving, with a strong focus on clear advice and effective outcomes for clients.
